Dutch Lawsuit Puts Bill Gates and Pfizer’s Bourla in the Dock Over Claims COVID Shots Were a “Biological Weapon”
In a packed courtroom in Leeuwarden, Dutch plaintiffs are seeking to hold Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, former Prime Minister Mark Rutte and others personally liable for what their lawyer calls a coordinated global deception surrounding COVID-19. The civil case, filed in 2023, alleges that the mRNA injections functioned as lethal biological weapons rolled out through unlawful public deception tied to the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset. Two of the original seven plaintiffs have already died.
The hearing on the merits took place on October 22, 2026, before three judges at the District Court of Northern Netherlands. Plaintiffs’ lawyer Peter Stassen told the court, “These injections are a biological weapon,” arguing that their global deployment “can only take place through the unlawful deception of the public on a global scale.” He also claimed the injections are “lethal, or at least highly harmful to human health and fertility,” and that the defendants are “GUILTY” of carrying out the deception. Outside the courthouse, Stassen told supporters, “COVID-19 was not a disease; It was a project.”
Supporters gathered outside with banners, while critics, both outside the court and in mainstream outlets, dismissed the arguments as extreme conspiracy theories. The judge noted the case was highly unusual, with the two sides diametrically opposed: the plaintiffs argue there was no virus, that the shots were a bioweapon and that genocide occurred, while the defendants insist the opposite.
Expert witness material submitted by the plaintiffs included statements from Sasha Latypova, former Pfizer scientist Mike Yeadon, Catherine Austin Fitts and others. Latypova has described the pandemic response as a coordinated government effort that she says grew out of roughly 25 years of changes to U.S. law, rather than something that originated solely with pharmaceutical companies. She has also made disturbing allegations about practices she described as “as dark as you can think of.”
The defendants rejected every claim. Gates’s lawyer said his client denies all of the accusations, that the claims rest on incorrect premises, and that nothing in the large dossier attributes liability to him. Bourla’s side repeated that the vaccines are proven safe and effective, with only rare side effects as with any vaccine. The Dutch State’s lawyer warned that unfounded personal accusations could deter scientists and officials from acting in future crises, and some defense lawyers said their clients had received hate messages and death threats.
The case has already survived earlier jurisdiction challenges, including an attempt by Gates to argue that the Dutch court had no authority over him. The plaintiffs’ dossier runs to thousands of pages plus video evidence. A ruling is not expected before December 9, 2026, and could come as late as the end of February 2027.
The proceedings come as Gates has made fresh public comments, saying the COVID pandemic “didn’t work out the way I expected” and warning that over the next several years there will be “attacks” on a scale different from anything seen before. Critics have seized on those remarks as suggestive of a different expected outcome. Through the Gates Foundation, Gates co-founded CEPI, which has directed tens of millions of dollars to Moderna for mRNA platforms.
The Dutch case remains a civil damages action, not a criminal trial, with the plaintiffs seeking compensation for physical and psychological injuries they attribute to the injections and the policies that pushed them. Whether the court accepts the bioweapon and Great Reset framing or the defense’s position that the shots were ordinary safe-and-effective vaccines will be decided on the written record and the arguments heard in Leeuwarden. Supporters outside the court have framed the case as a rare chance for accountability.
